As we all know that Windows 7 was a minor release and just an update for Windows Vista, questions started pouring about next major release like XP or Vista. Here is a fan made road map for microsoft’s releases which should help. Windows 8 may just be a codename as pointed out but that is what it will be called extensively !
Some may actually get really bored with ideas of next Windows getting talked about so much considering that Windows 7 has just been released. However, this is how things go for they say next Windows at Microsoft is already in making before the previous one was even started
